Basics are the backbone of your wardrobe. Putting together cool minimal street style looks start with having the right essentials.
Most people think of a variety of elements when it comes to street style outfits, mostly imagining them as composites of multiple different pieces.

The looks here are all minimalistic – in their color palette, their silhouettes, their fits and the way they are styled with each other. They work really well in a number of different situations, but particularly when you want to step out in something effortless – these can be your best friend.

Outfit 1. Navy Pants + White T-shirt + Navy Blazer + White Sneakers
This look is a solid 10-on-10, both because of its simplicity as well as its suave appeal. You want a plain white crew neck tee – do not pick a mélange tee because they would add more texture to this look, and this has to look simple and straightforward.
You can style this with a two-piece suit set, preferably in a darker tone – blacks, ink blues and dark greys work really well in this. The sneakers add a sportier vibe to this, but if you want to, for instance, attend a pre-wedding event, you can very easily switch the sneakers out with dress shoes.
Outfit 2. Black Pants + White T-shirt + White Sneakers
This is a very straightforward look. Every element of this is a timeless classic, so you should ideally go for clothes that would last you for a longer period of time. Also, a simple white tee and a black trouser can make for the perfect base for a wide number of options when it comes to layering, so it goes without saying that you should have this as a staple in your wardrobes.
Style this look with a pair of white sneakers, and you can add more functionality to the look with a brown tote. Accessorize with a simple and classic black-strap watch.
Outfit 3. Ripped Light Blue Jeans + White T-shirt + Denim Jacket + White Sneakers
You can very easily take the elements of the previous outfit and blend them slightly differently to make something like this – so the white tee remains the same, the white sneakers remain the same. But instead of going a black and white combination, pick something in denims.
A classic ripped blue denim, with an unstitched ankle, in a standard slim fit will work just fine for this look. You can add a vintage denim jacket to add more layers to the look. Keep the accessories to a minimal if you want the look to be simple, but you can also go for some bracelets.
Outfit 4. Black Pants + White Graphic T-shirt + Black Dress Shoes
Of course, we have to include one look with a tee with brand graphics when we are talking about t-shirt outfits. These tees are usually very easy to find, and equally easy to style. Keep one thing in mind when you are styling it – understand what kind of graphic you are comfortable with.
Brand graphics usually have some bold lettering, but they are more often than not, not so heavy on other graphics. This means there’s a substantial space on the tee itself, which will make the look more minimalistic than, say, brand graphic tees. So, you can style it with formal trousers, style it with trousers in contrasting color. You can also add a newsboy hat like the one here to add something extra to the look.
Outfit 5. Black Jeans + Black Crew Neck T-shirt + White Sneakers
This is also a look with a graphic tee, and this can be your go-to outfit when you want something in an all-black look. The tee here also has a minimalistic graphic on it, with a single color on it. This is also pretty easy to style. Just make sure that you maintain an overall silhouette with the look.
You can also add a jacket to the look in the same color palette. Looks where each element sticks to the same color palette are usually more minimalistic than ones with contrasting elements. However, if you want something to add just a touch of contrast to the whole outfit, you can go for some sneakers in white.
