Manish Malhotra is one of India's most successful fashion designers.[Malhotra has designed for many leading actresses in Bollywood. He is known in the Indian film industry for his different style and his ability to envision a 'look' for the character. He is known for designing the costumes for Urmila Matondkar in the film Rangeela. Stars including Madhuri Dixit, Sridevi, Kajol, Karisma Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukherji, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonakshi Sinha, Preity Zinta and Parineeti Chopra have worn his designs. 2. Ritu Kumar
Ritu Kumar is one of India’s foremost designers. She has developed a unique style of her own, reflecting the ancient traditions of Indian craftsmanship in a contemporary vocabulary. With a background in an art history and museology, which has enriched her horizons, Ritu’s understanding of ancient designs and the innovative use of traditional crafts has created a new classicism. Ritu, who began her work with four hand-block printers and two tables in a small village near Calcutta forty years ago, was the first woman to introduce the ‘boutique’ culture in India under the brand name ‘Ritu’. Today she has outlets in 14 cities in India. 3. Tarun Tahiliani
Tarun Tahiliani is a noted Indian fashion designer. With his wife Sailaja 'Sal' Tahiliani, he co-founded Ensemble, India’s first multi-designer boutique in 1987, followed by Tahiliani Design studio in 1990. Based in Delhi, he is best known for his ability to infuse Indian craftsmanship and textile heritage with European tailored silhouette.His signature is to combine traditional aesthetics with modern design. Over the years, he also became known for his bridal wear. Of late, Tahiliani has taken on several projects in interior design. He has designed interiors for hotels (such as The Sofala, Goa),restaurants (the Aish at the Park, Hyderabad),resorts and homes, and has even begun to event design for Indian weddings. 4. Anamika Khanna
Anamika Khanna (born in Jodhpur, July 19, 1971) is an Indian fashion designer with her own label. She has been covered by the Business of Fashion (BOF) magazine as the Indian designer who has blended traditional Indian textiles and techniques with Western silhouette and tailoring. She is the first Indian designer to have an International label: Ana mika.She is also the first female Indian fashion designer to display her collections at the Paris Fashion Week held in 2007. 5. Aki Narula

6. Masaba Gupta
Masaba Gupta (born 1989) is an Indian fashion designer. Her parents are West Indian cricketer Viv Richards and Indian actress Neena Gupta. Gupta grew up in Mumbai. At 19, she applied for Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai with support from Wendell Rodricks. Gupta is well-known for the creative and artistic/literary names she gives each collection. She named her first collection Kattran (English:miniature bits of fabric). Her LFW 2014 collection "Wanderess," was, quote, "inspired by novelist Roman Payne’s doe-eyed gypsy girl character, Saskia" in his novel, The Wanderess. She is noted for her unconventional prints along with feminine drapes and silhouettes. 7. Neeta Lulla
Neeta Lulla is an Indian costume designer and fashion stylist who has worked on over 300 films. She has been designing wedding dresses since 1985. Her name became inseparably associated with Bollywood after actresses Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit wore her costumes in Devdas (2002 Hindi film), the trend-setting setting Bollywood film. Her first big client was jewellery designer Varuna Jani, though Jani hadn’t started her business at the time. After that Lulla fully committed to a Bollywood client base when she designed for actor Spana who was prominent in the Bollywood community in South India. 8. Anand Kabra
Anand Kabra graduated from the London College of Fashion in 1997. His label 'Anand Kabra' was launched in 2001. He made his debut at fashion week in India with his Spring Summer '07 collection in October 2006. He works and resides in Hyderabad, India. Learn More

9. Agnimitra Paul
Paul started her career in 2001-02. She designed Sridevi's personal wardrobe. She later got her first big break designing costumes for the film Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche where she designed some costumes for Esha Deol. She designed outfits for Shonal Rawat for the Femina Miss India pageant. She designed for the Bollywood film "Via Darjeeling" for Kay Kay Menon, Sonali Kulkarni, Parvin Dabas and Vinay Pathak. She also designed for more than ten Tollywood films with actors like Mithun Chakraborty, Rituparna Sengupta, Jeet, Koel Mallick, Swastika Mukherjee and Mauli Ganguly. 10. Surily Goel
Surily Goel is an Indian fashion designer.
Goel studied at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. This was followed by her own range of clothing titled "Surily". She broke into the Bollywood film industry when she styled for Preity Zinta in the film Salaam Namaste (2005), produced by Yash Raj Films. Goel made her debut during Lakme Fashion Week in 2006. her collection was titled Roses Forever. She had Salman Khan, Malaika Arora Khan, and former actress Neelam to model her collection. Goel has been trained by fellow designer Manish Malhotra. Rohit Bal, is known as `India`s Master of fabric and fantasy,` by the Time journal. In 1990 he created his first label, as a traditional designer wear for men. Known primarily to play their fashion with contemporary styling, Shantanu Mehra & Nikhil Mehra dove in to fashion, first with their Indian menswear couture label in 1999, hence the birth of "Shantanu & Nikhil". She is known as the first Indian designer to present a collection in Paris. There is no comparison for her style and elegance. Today her designs have become a highlight in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, USA, London and Paris. Ritu Beri’s ready-to-wear line is an impressive couture collection that had the French media raving about her. She is one of early fashion designer whose collection made it quite big internationally.
